Why would a large technology employer move here, as IBM did in the late 60's with this plan? Moving into shabby facilities in the Hilsea/Airport area will not appeal. Where else is there? And the Dockyard is a huge waste of space - this whole area needs to increase usage density immensely. |

There will not a be a full return to work and work patterns will change for offices. |

Water based sports, clubs, and activities should be promoted and facilitated including proactive council support to develop and encourage greater local participation and involvement. I am particularly thinking of Sailing/watersports clubs, fishing clubs, and outdoor activities, and the provision of facilities. It is no good saying to youngsters 'you can't do that' because they will! Instead find a way to let them do it, and facilitate it - a classic example is the problem of the kids around The Camber throughout the summer. | |

Huge potential for development, but it's currently doing nothing. Jobs / culture etc. Also, watersports at Langstone harbour should have investment, but only if they stop pumping sewage into it. Clean water should be key to a maritime strategy. | |
