654johnbuddFeedback (Q17-20)Question 18b: Do you have any further comments or suggestions about the draft Policy C2?I agree with the majority of the need to keep our green spaces. The one I would question is the need for a Golf Course (Eastern Rd) on the island. There are other courses away from the island, and as has been discussed the need for housing is paramount. Would this land be better used especially as the area already has shops and a secondary school plus the industrial estate.

694pat.omahoneyFeedback (Q17-20)Question 18b: Do you have any further comments or suggestions about the draft Policy C2?Fundamentally the `policy C2 appears to favour maintaining and retaining such open space as there is, with the threat of more pockets of high density housing this will certainly become inadequate per head of population.
716clareseekFeedback (Q17-20)Question 18b: Do you have any further comments or suggestions about the draft Policy C2?Alternatives need to be accessible to the developments, not open spaces miles away, only accessible by private transport. And Open Spaces need to be living things, not just fake grass for example, to enhance biodiversity and help with the climate crisis.
748dragonflybethFeedback (Q17-20)Question 18b: Do you have any further comments or suggestions about the draft Policy C2?Every tree, garden, green space and wildflower space is valuable. During lockdown, these green spaces saved me , and many others, from mental health decline. The provision of these spaces will never be 'surplus to requirements'. Wilder Portsmouth project has been invaluable to our city and should continue.
